BY CAR

From Rome and from Pescara, take the A25 motorway, exit at the Pratola Peligna-Sulmona tollbooth and continue on the SS17 towards Roccaraso.
From Naples, take the A1 motorway heading north, exit at the Caianello toll booth and continue towards Venafro until you reach Roccaraso.
From L'Aquila, take the SS17 towards Roccaraso.
From Bari, take the A14 motorway to Pescara, continue on the A25 to the Pratola Peligna-Sulmona tollbooth and continue on the SS17 towards Roccaraso.

BY TRAIN

The railway line touches the stations of Roccaraso, Castel di Sangro, Alfedena and Rivisondoli-Pescocostanzo.
The line connects Pescara to Naples, passing through Sulmona (with connections from Rome and L'Aquila) and Isernia (with connections from Campobasso, Foggia and Benevento).
The highest station is that of Rivisondoli-Pescocostanzo (1268 m a.s.l.), the second highest in Italy after that of Brennero.
